ZBrushCentral member Gusztav Velicsek is the head of 3D at his company 3D4Medical who have released the educational application Complete Anatomy. The app was presented at the 2015 Apple keynote after which it was named overall winner of the Apple Design Award 2016, beating over 2 million apps and becoming the #1 top grossing app in over 141 countries.

At 3D4Medical we love to use ZBrush in our workflow and we use it on daily basis. The full skeletal system was sculpted with ZBrush under supervision of medical experts. While working with medical professionals on 3D models, flexibility is a key aspect of the workflow and using the right tools was essential.

The recent Japanese film Shin Godzilla or Godzilla Resurgence as it’s titled in English, is a VFX powerhouse that looks very impressive! The style and look of the film is quite different from it’s American counterparts and aims to keep with the Japanese filmmaking style that seems to suit the film well. Have a look at some of the films special effects work in the video below and keep an eye out for the ZBrush model for the legendary lizard!

One of the most important aspects of a good game is to have an immersive, lifelike environment that provides the perfect setting for the story and gameplay. The 3D artists tasked with creating these settings are usually every bit as talented as a lead character artist and their job is equally important. ZBrushCentral member Robin Beneš has shared his work on Halo 5 where he was responsible for masterfully creating debris and ground tile maps for the game.

Here is a funny and totally original web design concept for the creative agency Toy Fight which uses 3D toylike models of its founders as part of the design. ZBrushCentral member Anna Schmelzer is the 3D artist responsible for bringing the concepts to fruition and has done a wonderful job! Working with creative directors, she sculpted the models based on reference images, personal photos and the direction of the founders of the company themselves.
